KenPom giving us a 51% chance to win, with a predictive score of 84-83. This should be a really good game. Utah is quite balanced. The only thing I see that's odd about their stats is that they don't get to the line very often for a team their size. I can't pretend that I've watched a lot of Utah games this year, but this just looks like the profile of a team that moves the ball well on the perimeter and settles for jump shots and back cut, open layups. Sounds familiar.

Don't let the NCAA henchmen lead you astray... Final 4 - period.

Football team... Top 16... Still did NOT play in the Semis of that playoff.

Why drag 2018 into this? That team didn't make it, has zero bearing on HS JS, Larry Blurrd and the rest of the squad still hooping in April
The 2018 football team didn't have the chance to play for being "the 25th best team" at home against the 6th best team in the SOCON, the 10th best in the CAA, and the 11th best in the Big Sky if you get my drift.

I don't want to take anything away from the basketball team, because I think what they have done is a pretty big deal considering the lack of success ISU generally has in the sport; but trying to claim this as an actual Final 4 to take a cheap shot at ISU Football is a bit overboard.

Because they would have won the FCS NIT tournament if they had one.

From their presser, they mentioned how we looked like BYU. They beat them this year at home, 73-69.

BYU shot 7-30 (23.3%) from 3.

Am I the only one who's not getting a hard-on about playing at Hinkle Fieldhouse? Would much rather this be at the Pacers arena so we could actually get fans in the game that wanted to go.
It would be cool for other players if they played a high school 16 team shootout there. if the place is sold out they should have had it in a bigger location.

Being from Illinois and graduating from ISU, Butler's gym means nothing to me.

Hinkle is one of the hardest places for shooters. Pure shooters will struggle with the backdrop. I did not like shooting there in high school and it showed. I hope we have a secret advantage though in this area. Conwell grew up playing many times in this Arena so hopefully he can dial it back up and have another great game.

I think I read somewhere that he has actually never played there

Every excuse has been thrown at the team all season and they have been fine.

And the world now makes a BIT more sense
