Yes - I said to my buddy, Angie should have done this video and it woulda been fine. It’s a fair point that she could have declined doing that video and she did it anyway.

I just hate that we are still talking about it/her. Every second we do this I feel like she’s winning.

This is no knock against Angie, but my guess is it is highly unlikely. Usually new Presidents like to make their own hires so while I believe she will (and should) get an interview for the gig, in following these in the past, rarely does the incumbent end up with the job. You absolutely cannot question her dedication to the school though so if she isn't selected, I hope she resumes her role if she wants to keep it.

She may lack the experience where the next President is looking for.

For example, if the goal is to keep HCJS here long term, they could be looking for an AD that has previous experience in high level hoops administration and fundraising. The next thing that will be coming up in the near future will be getting a practice facility built.

That's exactly what I said to Huff77. Lansing should've done the video. No need to show her face in that piece. I didn't see John Sherman in it. I just hope Mr. Williams didn't feel slighted in any way.

I don't know what Angie's qualifications are, but if she's not good enough to be THE AD then ISU needs to hire someone else to be the senior associate AD going forward. If she actually wants the job, then it's ridiculous to continue to ask her to do the job over and over again until they find someone else. She's worked at ISU now for 14 years. If she's not ready now then I kind of doubt she ever will be.
