Actually @SycamoreStateofMind should be on it. Only guy I know that he puts the school first and won't bite his tongue because it wouldn't be what the audience wants to hear. Need less yes men and women and people that have a fucking backbone.

Early bird gets the worm, right? I would imagine it is expected that our #1 target would have competition. If Biff is someone we are seriously interested in, we need to reevaluate our process and get moving before schools like MSU make their offer/hire.

And ISU could save money not having to do as much due diligance. He's made the final 3 at a fellow MVC school so no doubt he's been completely vetted already. I swear over the last 10-20 years ISU has had to have spent million(s?) of dollars on consultants and search firms as they use them not only on Presidents but also VPs, ADs, Deans, basketball coaches, etc. No doubt this Prez search alone will be 100-200k.
Screw that let's just hold our own vote from members here for president and make it a hostile takeover!!!!!

Probably not but im sure we did anyway. We hire firms for freaking everything, even at the departmental level. My buddy and my sister have current high school seniors. Both kids got a mailer from Admissions that wanted them to keep ISU in the mix. At the top it was addressed to "Your Name" or something dumb like that. The culprit? Some marketing firm who we're evidently paying to make us look bad. I sure hope we fired them over that.
We did. Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates was hired last time around.

Obviously a total waste of money. Curious as to why no one from the athletic department has a spot on this committee. Or did I miss something in reading the long list of names. And while we are at it what do we make of Bob Casey and his glowing remarks regarding Curtis??? He is head of alumni on the board of trustees?? He obviously hasn't talked to many alums, or worse yet has his head totally buried in the sand. How he could give Curtis such accolades is beyond insane! Where does he live? Chicago? South Bend? He sounds so out of touch. Can anyone name me what positives we are to take away from her tenure? Enrollment crashing, destroying homecoming, the baseball fiasco are just a few of the highlights that come to mind.

Rumor I heard was he "called" her out in a meeting. Or went over flaws in the system., which she became offended... allegedly anyway.. we are lucky we didn't get sued over it.

The previous woke committee got what they wanted in Curtis.
And she’s done a fine job of destroying our reputation, enrollment, campus spirit, alumni spirit and community spirit.

Reading between the lines, I would not be surprised if he withdrew from consideration and it’s not been made public.
From our job? No need. We're still soliciting candidates until the end of this month so he can just play the field.
