The AD roles are a separation in duties. She handles many of our non-revenue sports as part of her duties like track & field, cross country and most (if not all) of the women's sports. She also sits on multiple committees at the MVC and NCAA level.
If you go to GoSycamores you can go through all of our assistant athletic directors and see their roles and responsibilities. It takes 20 minutes. Also, here is Sherrard's old bio:

Well you're assumption is wrong, because I actually think she probably deserves the job and should get it this time around if she wants it. I don't think it's right to have her do the job at least twice, maybe three times now, just to give it to someone else. But, if they're never going to allow her to actually be the head AD, knowing that she would like to hold that position permanently, then they should quit making her the head AD every time they get in a bind. To me it seems like it would be a slap in the face not to pick her this time around. Hopefully Curtis will not be allowed to make the next hire, so by the time a decision is made she probably will have held the interim title for 7 or 8 months at least.

I'm simply asked you WHAT is her intent for that "act."
