I'm surprised you even care that we didn't get to host. You've been around here long enough to know that I VERY RARELY try to align myself with anyone on anything... I don't make have opinions and make posts worrying about who aligns with me on any topic. So consider me grown up.

So back to my question...the Alumni Board won't be taking any action on anything regarding enrollment, the Super Regional fiasco, or anything else it seems?

It was the Faculty Senate that did a No Confidence resolution on Benjamin. They have no power over him but it sent a message. Wondering if the Alumni Board should do the same….I personally requested the e-mail of every BOT member and I was going to send them an e-mail on my own behalf as an alum, former athlete, donor, season ticket holder and member of the Alumni Association Board. By the way - I never received the information I requested so nothing has been done.
Will the Alumni Association Board be taking a collective action? Not that I have heard or even considered a possibility. While my initial reaction is that we would have nothing to lose - I also sort of feel like it's not really my role as an Alumni Association Board member. This is exactly the sort of reason that you are appointed to the BOT... If the BOT which actually has authority and voting power isn't going to act - how you can you expect anyone else to act?! That just seems backwards to me.
WeeeeeeeeeeePlease refrain of the use of "we," you're not now nor a past alumnus of ISU or the Sycamore baseball team.
You ought to be thanking me. There wouldn't be a thousand butts in the seats at an ISU basketball game if it wasn't for local people like me that support ISU. I also have a few credits from ISU so technically I am an alumnus. Please refrain of the use of "we," you're not now nor a past alumnus of ISU or the Sycamore baseball team.

Do you desire to run off the few local fans we have? To my knowledge he is the only person in this board who did not graduate from ISU. Yet, you give him a hard time. It would probably be easier for him to cheer for a different college but he seems pretty loyal to his hometown team. I think he has earned the right to say we.Thank you for?
Congrats on completing that course.
Become a life member of the Alumni Association and FWIW, how many 'I's did you earn for the Sycamores?
Now back to our regular scheduled program. If we could get a couple hundred people walking around Memorial Stadium at homecoming wearing Fire Curtis tee shirts do you think that could swing the pendulum?
Not to be that “actually…” guy but the BOTs do meet every year in Terre Haute on homecoming and attend homecoming events. They’re scheduled again this year.No... Because the people that make the decision on her future aren't going to be in attendance - Indiana State is out-of-sight and out-of-mind until they have to attend a meeting then back to real life.
You basically just had a couple hundred people saying this and more on social media over the last 2 weeks and nothing happened. I'd say the public outcry on social media is going to have a much greater reach than a couple hundred people at Memorial Stadium.
If 200 have shirts on then they will be protesting to an audience of 100... Yay.
