[November 14, 2013] Indiana State (1-0) at Belmont (1-1)

No matter what, this will be close. Winning on the road is always tough, even if Belmont doesn't have the toughest environment. This is our first away game, so there will be an adjustment needed to get used to it. I think ISU is the better team and will win, but I wouldn't be surprised if we trail for more than 50% of the game. This will be a good test to prepare us for going on the road to Notre Dame.

A road win against a very good Belmont team would look MIGHTY good come season's end when everyone's resumes are being scrutinized. Know it seems early, but IMHO the Sycamores really NEED to go out and get the roadie W over Belmont. Could look extremely good later

Alright, go get 'em Sycamores!!

I know its early, but in March, when NCAA committee is choosing teams for tournament, we need this road win, four our resume, if not this could come back and haunt us, even though we play another game with Belmont at home.

Agree---this is going to be a good test--to gauge where this team is at--and the direction and potential it has. That said--one game doesn't make a season but a nice early win on the road could set the tone as they head north to battle the --fighting Irish! Guess its still ok to call them that ---striving to be political correct!
A local reporter recently questioned how long it would be before that name ---represents the image of drunks and fights and not be politically correct!

Tomorrow night will be a good test of where we are at... We SHOULD win this game. Lets be honest, it is not a tough venue to play in and they lost a ton from last years team that was good, not great. They should still be trying to find their way as a team and we should be very comfortable with what we are and what we want to do. I am still very skeptical based upon last years results at the end of the year but this should be a nice test to see what we are capable of in the non conference this year.

Ya, that "leprechaun" is most disturbing to the "vertically challenged" sector of the Irish. They should extradite him to Boise, thus being nearer to his "spud" chums.

Looks like Nashville is pre-occupied with a Vandy athlete drunk rape case:

Yeah, it looks like the Belmont Bruins get as much coverage in their hometown newspaper as ISU gets in the IndyStar.

Well with Kitch out tonight the fellas on the inside are going to have to have a big game.

Kitch, this is why you don't have premarital sex.

NCAA says if you're over 6'10", it's ok...:bigboss:
Those under 6'10" are subject to SSOM Law(s).:shocked2:

Congrats to kitch! Saw the baby on twitter! One game won't hurt us. Moore and bell will step up to the occasion with no issues.

Why is he missing the game though? What's he going to do, breast feed the baby?

College athletes at all levels are having babies around the country, and this is the first time that I've ever heard of one missing a game because they became a Daddy.

Does ISU get a refund from his scholarship for de-commiting (sp) a game? What's next, missed practices because he has to change diapers? I'm calling bullshit on this one....

After missed practices for other baby dodo....next we're on to FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) for 12 weeks. Yeah yeah....that's being ridiculous, but so is missing a game cuz you had a baby.....big whoop.

The good thing is, his crap-to-content ratio, I mean fouls-to-minutes played will go down 50% after tonight's game.
